Fees
At Metanoia Psychological Services we pride ourselves on ensuring that mental health support is accessible to all those who need it.
All sessions are priced at $200.00 per session.
All private insurance companies cover our psychological services. It must be noted however that the amount covered will differ dependent on the insurance company.
Following your clinical service an invoice will be provided. Your insurance company will be billed and you will be asked to pay the remainder. Online bank transfer are preferred but cash is optional.
Cancellation Policy
It is recommended that regular attendance will provide you the opportunity to get the most out of your clinical sessions.
We understand however that unexpected events occur that may require you to cancel your session. We kindly ask that you provide at least 24-hour notice to allow for potential other clients to obtain your appointment.
In the event that you are not to provide 24-hour notice, 50% of your session cost will be charged, which is not covered by your insurance company.
You are welcomed to cancel or reschedule your appointment through the booking application.

Identifiable details e.g., name, birth date, contact details etc
Sensitive information e.g., personal history, medical information
Financial Information (if applicable for payment purposes)
Insurance details for claims submissions
How We Use Your Information
The information that is outlined above will be used for the following purposes:
To conduct a psychological assessment .
To inform the development of an individualized intervention plan .
To maintain accurate clinical records.
To provide invoices and complete payments.
To communicate regarding appointments, ongoing support through follow ups.
Limitations of Confidentiality
There are certain instances when information must be shared with third parties without your explicit consent:
For the purpose of legal obligations e.g., risk of harm to you or others, ordered by the court
Keeping Your Information Secure
Ensuring that we keep your personal information safe is a top priority therefore the following is conducted:
Client personal information will be securely kept through the Jane Applicatioin which is encrypted in line with Personal Information Protection Act (2016).
Your Rights to Your Information
You have the right to:
Request access to the personal information collected.
Correct or update any inaccurate information .
Request for personal information to be deleted or restricted; please note this will be subject to legal and ethical obligations.
You can withdraw your consent at anytime.
Your Information: Retention, Disposal and Breach Notification
Your personal information will be held no longer than necessary. This will be in accordance with professional and legal standards. When necessary, your personal information will be securely deleted/destroyed.
In the unlikely event a data breach occurs posing a risk to your personal information you will be notified and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in accordance with legislation.
